New Sterling Silver Bisbee Blue Turquoise Pendant Handmade by Native American Navajo Artist Russell Sam New Jewelry 
This Turquoise is Natural and comes from the famous Bisbee mine in Arizona. The Lavender Pit mine is known worldwide for its size and the host rocks natural lavender color; most Bisbee turquoise formed in this same host material.
The lavender name is so appropriate but is actually referencing a Phelps Dodge executive from when the mine was fully operational.  
(the mine closed in the 1970's)

This stone weights 8.65 carats 
This gemstone is NOT stabilized or treated, only mined, carved and polished 

This gem exhibits some expected and unusual 
Bisbee characteristics blue and green with brown and lavender limestone as well  gorgeous rich medium blue bisbee

Natural turquoise gemstones such as this piece from the Bisbee mine are extremely collectable and rare.

The setting is handmade with great detail featuring a pierced shadow box effect, with a heavy stamped and carved border
The large bail at the top allows for a variety of chain sizes
The Pendant approximately 46 MM long NOT including the bail and approx. 32 MM wide. This total weight Approx. over 32 grams
Stamped With Russell's Hallmark: "Russell Sam " and Sterling

This is hand made jewelry and will show evidence of tool marks, scratches, pits and other small imperfections in the silver and stones.
