New Sterling Silver Unisex Ring with Natural Bisbee Arizona Turquoise made by Native American Navajo Artist Russell Sam
The setting is a Solid Sterling Silver Casting with hand made setting and trim on top
This Turquoise is Natural and comes from the famous Bisbee mine in Arizona
This band features a pierced, stamped and engraved design
The famous Bisbee Arizona "Lavender Pit" mine is known worldwide for its massive size and the host rock does have a natural Red/Brown or sometimes lavender color; Bisbee turquoise formed in and near this same abundant host limestone and breccia material as well as other mineral variations
The lavender name is so appropriate but is actually referencing a Phelps Dodge executive from when the mine was fully operational.
(the mine closed in the 1970's)
This Bisbee Turquoise gem weighs approximately 4.15 carats
This gemstone is NOT stabilized or treated, only mined, backed, carved and polished
This Bisbee stone is approx. 13 MM long and 7 MM wide

Beautiful Blue Turquoise with some webbing and the classic Bisbee Limestone, Quartz, and Calcite matrix or host rock
Russell uses traditional casting techniques, forming methods and individually sizes his rings. His jewelry is hand made and will show evidence of tool marks, scratches, pits and other small flaws in the castings and stones
