Product Overview

New Sterling Silver Bisbee Turquoise Bracelet hand made by Navajo Artist Russell Sam

This is a large rare natural Gemstone from the famous Bisbee Arizona "Lavender Pit" mine

This Turquoise is Natural and comes from the famous Bisbee mine in Arizona

The famous Bisbee Arizona "Lavender Pit" mine is known worldwide for its massive size and the host rock does have a natural Red/Brown or some say lavender color; most Bisbee turquoise formed in and near this same host limestone material
The lavender name is so appropriate but is actually referencing a Phelps Dodge executive from when the mine was fully operational.
(the mine closed in the 1970's)

This Bisbee Turquoise gem weighs approximately 101 carats   (20.2 grams)
This gemstone is NOT stabilized or treated, only mined, backed, carved and polished
I cut this Smoky Bisbee gem from from the edge of a massive breccia formation that contained several veins and pockets of turquoise

Natural Bisbee turquoise gemstones such as this piece are extremely rare and collectable

This gem exhibits classic Bisbee characteristics: Gem Blue Turquoise with "smoky" areas, Limestone, Quartz, and Calcite matrix or host rock

This Bisbee Turquoise weighs 101 carats
(Approx. 48 MM x 31.5 MM)

This bracelet weighs over 98 grams total.  The top of the setting is Approx. 59.5 MM long

The Bracelet measures just over 5 1/2" on the inside with a 1 1/2" gap.
